ABOUT THE DOCTOR

Dr. Christina Baek

Dr. Baek is a board certified dentist anesthesiologist practicing in Southern California. She completed her dental anesthesiology residency at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where she provided anesthesia for a wide range of medical and surgical procedures and gained extensive experience in treating medically complex patients. She now focuses on outpatient anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and special needs patients in the dental office and surgery center settings.

Dr. Baek, a California native, attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health. Her passion for public health led her to volunteer at a free dental clinic, where she was exposed to the great dental needs of her community. Dr. Baek went on to study at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where she earned her doctorate degree in dental surgery. In dental school, her interest in medicine and physiology spurred her to pursue further training in anesthesiology, so that all patients could have access to dental care.

Dr. Baek is a member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. She holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, which recognizes attainment of the highest level of anesthesia training in dentistry.
